On April 25, the Dak Lak Provincial Labor Federation announced that it had issued an Action Program to implement the Resolution of the 14th National Party Congress, associated with the program of the Party Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and the Dak Lak Provincial Party Committee.
Accordingly, the provincial trade union sets out 8 key annual targets. In which, striving for 100% of grassroots trade unions in non-business units not receiving 100% salaries from the State budget and state-owned enterprises to operate effectively;
80% of grassroots trade unions in the non-state sector coordinate with employers to implement democracy regulations, organize employee conferences and dialogues at the workplace.
The Provincial Labor Federation aims to support the construction and repair of 100 "Trade Union Shelter" houses for union members in difficult circumstances. Over 90% of union members and workers are propagated and disseminated the Party's guidelines, policies and laws of the State.
The unit also strives to develop an additional 2,500–3,000 union members, establish at least 20 grassroots trade unions; have at least 90% of commune and ward trade unions, 80% of public sector and state-owned enterprise trade unions, and 70% of non-state sector trade unions achieving good grades.
By 2030, the provincial trade union aims to admit 12,500 or more union members, bringing the total number of union members in the whole province to about 73,000 people; 80% of enterprises with 20 or more employees establish grassroots trade unions.
To achieve the goals, Ms. Nguyen Ngoc Huyen - Standing Vice President of the Dak Lak Provincial Labor Federation - said that the trade union will continue to promote its representative role, protect legitimate rights, care for the lives of union members and workers, especially in terms of salaries, jobs, housing, health, education and labor safety.
Along with that, the trade union organization strengthens supervision of labor law compliance, improves the quality of dialogue and collective bargaining; continues to implement care programs such as "Tet Sum vay", "Workers' Month", "Trade Union Home", "Trade Union Tet Market".
At the same time, promote the signing of preferential agreements on goods, services, and health care for union members; strive for each grassroots trade union to build at least one practical and effective welfare model.
