On June 4, the Dak Lak Provincial Labor Federation informed that, in response to Workers' Month 2026, provincial trade union levels have implemented many meaningful and practical activities associated with important historical events of the country, creating a strong spread among union members and workers.
Accordingly, the work of caring for the material life of union members and workers continues to be concerned and implemented by trade union levels. The whole province has presented 1,977 gifts with a total value of more than 988 million VND to union members in difficult circumstances, who have had labor accidents or suffer from serious illnesses.
The housing support program for union members also achieved many positive results. Trade union levels have supported the new construction and repair of 22 "Trade Union Shelter" houses with a total budget of 1.1 billion VND. Of which, the new construction support level is 50 million VND/house.
The houses given not only contribute to stabilizing life but also add motivation for workers to feel secure in sticking with their jobs.
In addition, 14 "Thank you workers" programs, 16 "Trade Union Meals" programs and 15 "Union Member Welfare" programs were organized, attracting 11,522 participants.
Through these activities, thousands of union members and workers have benefited from many preferential policies and practical support from trade union organizations and companion units.
Health care for workers is also emphasized. In this year's Workers' Month, 3,228 workers and laborers were examined, consulted and provided with free medicine.
Not only caring for material life, trade union levels also pay special attention to the spiritual life of union members and workers.
The whole province has organized 107 exciting cultural, artistic, and sports activities, attracting nearly 9,500 union members to participate. The festivals organized by trade unions at all levels have created a joyful and exciting atmosphere, helping workers regenerate labor after stressful working hours.
The results achieved in Workers' Month 2026 continue to affirm the role and position of the Trade Union organization in accompanying union members and workers, contributing to building harmonious and stable labor relations and promoting socio-economic development of Dak Lak province.
