Talking to reporters, Mr. Hoang Tuan Hai - Deputy Head of the Trade Union of Industrial Parks and Economic Zones of Lao Cai province - said that the relocation of Dong Pho Moi Industrial Park is a major issue, directly affecting more than 500 union members and workers. Therefore, the board has proactively coordinated with leaders of the Provincial Labor Federation to work, firmly grasp the situation of each business and each group of workers to promptly advise on solutions.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Bich Nhiem - Chairwoman of Lao Cai Provincial Labor Federation - emphasized that the trade union will continue to closely monitor the project implementation process, accompany businesses in rearranging production, and support workers to stabilize their jobs and lives.

The Lao Cai - Hanoi - Hai Phong railway line was approved by the National Assembly for investment policy in Resolution 187, with a total length of about 391km of main line and 28km of branch line, passing through six provinces and cities.
The route is designed with a gauge of 1,435mm, maximum speed of 160km/h on the main axis, 120km/h in Hanoi area and 80km/h in the remaining sections.
The preliminary total investment is more than 203,000 billion VND (equivalent to 8.37 billion USD), deployed in 2 phases, of which phase 1 invests in single roads and site clearance on a double-track scale.
