On the morning of April 28, the working delegation of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Naval Region 4 and units organized flower offerings and incense offerings at the Gac Ma Soldiers Memorial Area (Cam Hai Dong Commune, Cam Lam District, Khanh Hoa Province).
The incense offering ceremony was attended by Mr. Huynh Thanh Xuan - Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Colonel Bui Quang Thuyen - Deputy Commander of Naval Region 4 and nearly 200 union officials, leaders of localities, units and enterprises.
With a wreath bearing the words "Forever grateful to the heroic martyrs", the working group offered flowers and incense at the monument area "Those who lie on the horizon" and the wind tomb.
The officers, soldiers, union members, and workers participating in the working group also visited and learned about history at the museum area displaying antiques, artifacts, and documents about Hoang Sa - Truong Sa and the heroes and martyrs who died on the island of Gac Ma - Truong Sa.
After the incense offering and flower offering ceremony, the delegation visited Linh Nguyen Pagoda, the spiritual park, Brigade 189 and Brigade 162 in Naval Region 4.
On this occasion, Region 4 of the Navy coordinated with the Mission of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and the participating units to launch the peak emulation to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the liberation of the South and the reunification of the country, 70 years of the establishment of the Vietnam People's Navy (7.5.1955 - 7.5.2025).

The Navy Political Department launched to members of the working group the contest "Heroic Vietnam Sea, Fatherland Islands and People's Navy" in the form of multiple-choice and essay questions.
On behalf of union members and workers nationwide, Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Huynh Thanh Xuan presented 5 billion VND to support the army and people of Truong Sa island district. The units and localities participating in the delegation also presented support of 1.5 billion VND to build Truong Sa and Khanh Hoa island districts.
