On June 12, the Gia Lai Provincial Federation of Labor (GFF) held the 6th Executive Committee Conference, term XI (term 2023-2028) to review trade union activities in the first 6 months of 2025 and set out key tasks in the coming time.
During Workers' Month 2025, trade unions at all levels organized free health check-ups for nearly 1,000 union members and workers; supported 370 cases of work-related accidents and serious illnesses.
In addition, organized care and gave gifts to 53,211 union members and workers with a total cost of more than 25.8 billion VND; supported 1.4 billion VND to build and repair 31 "Union Shelter" and " caring home" houses for union members with housing difficulties.

Also in the first 6 months of the year, trade unions at all levels in the province admitted 1,079 union members, established 12 grassroots unions and unions, and introduced 831 outstanding union members to the Party for consideration.
At the conference, delegates approved the Proposal to reorganize the trade union apparatus at all levels, dissolve, end the activities of 20 trade unions at the grassroots level and agree to implement key tasks in the coming time.
In particular, implementing well the policies of streamlining the organizational apparatus according to the direction of the Provincial Party Committee and the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.
After the merger, the provincial trade union will continue to develop union members and increase its grasp of the legitimate thoughts and aspirations of union members and workers, protecting the legitimate rights and interests of workers.
On this occasion, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor presented emulation flags to the Duc Co District Labor Federation, awarded certificates of merit to 7 collectives and 5 individuals with outstanding achievements in 2024.
