On July 18, the Vietnam Education Trade Union (VTC) said that building a cultural environment and grassroots cultural life is identified as a key task, of great significance to the entire education sector.
In recent times, the Trade Union has continued to direct trade unions at all levels to effectively implement Directive No. 05-CT/TW of the Politburo on promoting the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style. This activity is closely integrated with major movements and campaigns of the industry such as: "Each teacher is a moral, self-study and creative example", emulation movement "Innovation and creativity in management, teaching and learning". Thereby, many effective and creative models in practice have been discovered and replicated; advanced models, outstanding individuals, and beautiful actions have been commended, creating a positive effect in the whole industry.
At the same time, the construction of grassroots cultural life among cadres, teachers and workers (CBNGNLD) continues to be promoted. Units implement the Project "Culture of Behavior in Schools for the period 2018-2025" along with applying a code of conduct in schools.
Trade unions at all levels closely coordinate with professional leaders to create a democratic, friendly and creative educational environment; promote schools to meet cultural standards, upgrade facilities, develop cultural institutions and organize cultural activities, sports, and health care for employees. At the same time, focus on preventing negative manifestations such as ethical violations, inappropriate behavior, lack of democracy, and violations of the law - issues that easily cause offense and reduce trust in society.
At grassroots units, trade unions have proactively developed specific plans to organize activities associated with studying and following Uncle Ho's example. Many units have implemented the registration of commitments to study and follow Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style; making this content a regular activity content in trade union activities. Activities such as seminars, exchanges, meetings... are organized regularly, contributing to improving quality, professional ethics, strengthening working style, working style and enhancing discipline in agencies and units.
Trade Unions at all levels have coordinated with the professional sector to implement the movement "All people unite to build a cultural life" for the period 2021-2026, registered to compete for agencies, units, and enterprises meeting cultural standards according to Decision No. 2214/QD-TTg dated December 28, 2021 of the Prime Minister approving the Program to implement the movement "All people unite to build a cultural life" for the period 2021-2026. The trade unions of the units coordinate with the professional sector to complete the procedures and documents to propose the Vietnam General Education Trade Union to consider agencies, units and enterprises meeting cultural standards for the period 2023-2025. Up to now, the Trade Union has considered the first phase for 48 units.
The organization of cultural, artistic, physical education and sports activities to celebrate major holidays of the country, the industry and the trade union organization is also of special interest to the trade unions of the units. Many units have new and creative ways of organizing activities to improve grassroots cultural life, in line with reality, meeting the need to enjoy the cultural and spiritual values of employees. As a result, 34 units organized 144 cultural, artistic and sports exchanges attracting 61,782 employees to participate.
