Attending and chairing the meeting were Dr. Nguyen Ngoc An, President of the Vietnam Education Trade Union (VTC); representatives of female lecturers who achieved the title of Professor, Associate Professor in 2025 and outstanding female union officials.
According to the Trade Union, the meeting was held on the occasion of the 43rd anniversary of Vietnamese Teachers' Day to encourage and affirm the important role and contributions of the female team in professional activities and trade union activities of the unit, especially in the development of education in the country. This is also an opportunity to exchange and share experiences in teaching, scientific research, and trade union activities of female lecturers and trade union officials.

Speaking at the meeting, Dr. Nguyen Ngoc An sent her best wishes to teachers, especially outstanding female teachers and female union officials. Dr. Nguyen Ngoc An emphasized that the Trade Union respects and is proud of female lecturers for their outstanding achievements and outstanding scientific research works for the education sector; at the same time, affirmed that the trade union is always ready to accompany female lecturers and female staff to overcome all difficulties and challenges.
The Chairwoman of the Trade Union also expressed her hope that female lecturers and scientists will always trust the trade union; boldly share and express so that the trade union can understand and provide timely support to teachers and staff.
In a warm and affectionate atmosphere, Prof. Le Thi Minh Loan - Senior Lecturer of the Department of Psychology, University of Social Sciences & Humanities (Vietnam National University, Hanoi) shares about her career path. According to Professor Loan, being named a professor is the result of a journey of striving not only for oneself but also for the support and understanding from the back - the family is strong.
Professor Le Thi Minh Loan also emphasized that the difficulties that female lecturers face are balancing family work and research careers. In addition to support from the family, the attention of not only the Trade Union but also the unit's trade union and organizations also creates conditions for female lecturers to continue to promote their capacity, effectively contributing to the development of the unit and on their academic and research path.
Dr. Nguyen Thi Thu Hoai - Vice President of the Hanoi National University of Education Trade Union said that she herself has also spent years researching and studying, so she understands the psychology and difficulties that female lecturers face.
"The sharing of the professors and associate professors here teaches us how to balance, in addition to participating in social activities and taking on the role of a family, we need to take on the tasks assigned by the agency or school," said Ms. Hoai.
