Mr. Dao Manh Kien - Chairman of the Vietnam Airlines Corporation Trade Union said that in 2025, the Corporation Trade Union and its affiliated trade unions will operate under the theme "Focusing on developing union members; participating in building a clean and strong Party". Accordingly, the 7 tasks and solutions to be implemented in 2025 include:
Represent and protect the legal and legitimate rights and interests of union members and workers.
Deploy solutions to "Improve the effectiveness of dialogue and collective bargaining, period 2024 - 2028"; coordinate with experts to well organize the Dialogue Conference, Conference of Labor Delegates of the Corporation in 2025;
Organize training programs, seminars and propaganda, provide documents on labor laws, reward regulations, welfare regimes, rights and obligations of employees; regularly update and implement the latest policies from the union as well as regulations of labor laws to union members and employees.
Caring for practical benefits for union members and workers
Enhance welfare and attract and gather workers into trade unions;
Coordinate with the General Confederation and the professional departments of the Corporation to organize and implement the program "Union Flight - Spring 2025", with 2 flights operated by Vietnam Airlines (funded by the General Confederation) to bring 450 workers (of which Vietnam Airlines donated 50 free tickets to 50 workers) back to their hometowns for the Lunar New Year...
Work on developing union members, establishing trade unions, developing the party among union members and workers
Thoroughly implement solutions in the Resolution to promote the work of developing union members and establishing grassroots trade unions by 2028, with a vision to 2033, to all levels of trade unions.
Synchronously implement the solutions proposed in the Program to build a team of Trade Union Chairmen to meet the requirements of the tasks; promote propaganda about the rights of trade union members, so that workers understand and join the trade union organization;
Strengthen participation in building a clean and strong Party and government; focus on introducing outstanding union members for the Party to train and consider for admission.
Propaganda, education and activities during Workers' Month
Promote propaganda work on "Good people, good deeds", build soft skills training programs, and guide the use of AI to help union members and workers improve labor productivity, professional quality, and successfully complete assigned tasks.
During Workers' Month, trade unions at all levels organize activities to care for the lives of union members and workers; organize competitions to enhance solidarity, and at the same time encourage union members to promote their skills and creativity in work.
Organize patriotic emulation movements among union members and workers.
