On March 11, a representative of the Hung Yen Provincial Federation of Labor said that thanks to trade unions at all levels actively monitoring the implementation of policies, grasping timely thoughts; strengthening legal advice for workers... as a result, in 2024, the whole province only had 2 labor disputes and work stoppages.
Hung Yen Provincial Federation of Labor currently manages 18 trade unions at the grassroots level and 1 affiliated unit with 173,422 union members operating in 1,639 grassroots trade unions. In 2024, Hung Yen provincial trade unions at all levels provided legal advice to 10,175 people, including 1 case that was supported by the union to be sued in court.
The leaders of the Provincial Federation of Labor have also directed trade unions at all levels to grasp the developments, thoughts, employment, income, wages, and lives of employees; supervise the implementation of policies and regulations, and implement the regional minimum wage of enterprises.
In addition, proactively coordinate with all levels and sectors to propose and resolve difficulties and problems related to policies for workers. The direct superior trade union coordinates with employers to support information connection, introduce new jobs to workers who have to quit; actively mobilize social resources, expand welfare partners to bring benefits to union members and workers...
The Provincial Federation of Labor will coordinate with relevant agencies to conduct supervision work at 5 schools and 2 enterprises; inspect and examine the implementation of labor laws, the Trade Union Law, the Social Insurance Law, health insurance, and occupational safety and hygiene work at 31 units and enterprises located in the province. Establish an interdisciplinary survey team on the survey of grassroots trade unions participating in the Better Jobs Program at 9 enterprises in the province.
Directed trade unions at all levels in the province to conduct inspections and supervision of 46 cases. In which, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Federation of Labor established 4 inspection and supervision teams (inspected at the Hung Yen City Federation of Labor, My Hao Town Federation of Labor; supervised at: Tien Lu District Federation of Labor, Provincial Agricultural and Rural Development Trade Union). Establish working groups at 14 direct superior trade unions to grasp the difficulties and problems of grassroots trade unions and trade unions at all levels in the province.
