According to the report of the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council, in 2024 and the first 2 months of 2025, the agencies of the Provincial and District People's Councils have focused on reviewing the tasks that need to be implemented, specifically identifying the content, progress, and implementation time, ensuring that the operating programs are in accordance with the provisions of law, closely following the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws, with focus, key points, and feasibility; at the same time, promptly and effectively supplement and implement the tasks arising from sudden events.
The Standing Committee of the People's Councils at the provincial and district levels chaired and organized 67 sessions (7 sessions were held at the provincial and district levels; 60 sessions were held at the district level), passed and issued 654 resolutions. The work of reviewing draft resolutions and reports submitted to the meeting ensures thoroughness and quality...
Regarding supervision activities, the People's Councils at the provincial and district levels discussed and reviewed over 500 reports from the Standing Committees of the People's Councils, People's Committees, People's Courts, People's Procuracies and civil enforcement agencies at the same level to ensure compliance with the content and order prescribed in Article 59 of the Law on Supervisory Activities; deploy 161 thematic supervision and surveys. Organized meetings with voters at 78 locations, with 9,890 voters attending.

Comrade Le Xuan Tien, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council chaired the discussion with the theme: "Solutions to enhance the role and responsibility of the People's Council in promoting socio-economic development in the locality during the period of accelerating the successful implementation of the Resolution of the Party Congresses at all levels for the 2020-2025 term and the Resolution on socio-economic development of the People's Councils at all levels for the 2021-2026 term". Delegates contributed many opinions and proposed many solutions to continue improving the effectiveness of the activities of People's Councils at all levels in general and in implementing socio-economic development tasks in particular.
Concluding the conference, Comrade Tran Quoc Toan requested the People's Councils at all levels in the province to continue to closely follow and take advantage of the leadership of Party committees and Standing Committees of Party committees in organizing the activities of the People's Council; promptly institutionalize the Party's policies and resolutions to serve as a basis for implementation in practice.
Continue to strengthen the performance of the functions of local elected bodies; closely coordinate with the People's Committees and functional sectors to review the socio-economic development indicators in the Resolution of the Party Congress and the Resolutions of People's Councils at all levels, thereby evaluating the achieved results, pointing out limitations, shortcomings, and bottlenecks, proposing to the People's Councils to supplement and promptly adjust appropriate mechanisms, policies, and solutions.
