On July 23, at Nam Hung Sea Tourism Joint Stock Company (Cam Lam commune), the Khanh Hoa Provincial Labor Federation organized a conference to announce the decision to establish English clubs among union members and workers.
Accordingly, 10 clubs were established at tourism and resort businesses with many workers in the area, including: Risinh Stara (Synergy Nha Trang Joint Stock Company), MIA (Cam Ranh Tourism Development Joint Stock Company), Mövenpick Resort Cam Ranh, Riviera English Journey (Cam Ranh Riviera Resort Joint Stock Company), Noa Speak Up Club (Nam Hung - Cam Ranh Sea Tourism Investment Joint Stock Company), KN English Zone-1 and KN English Zone-2 (KN Cam Ranh Co., Ltd.), The Anam Say Yes (Bien Dong Bai Dai One Member Co., Ltd.), Amiana Let's Talk Club (Hong Ha Cam Ranh Co., Ltd.) and E-Swandor (Pegas Vietnam Co., Ltd. - Bai Dai Branch).

Ms. Nguyen Tuong Vy - representative of the "Khanh Hoa people speak English" Program - said that the program is the only major activity in the country aimed at spreading foreign language skills to the community. To date, Khanh Hoa has more than 300 clubs with over 300 volunteers.
The fact that 10 newly established clubs belong to tourism businesses with a large number of workers is a positive sign because this is a force that directly contacts international tourists.
The program will support digital curricula, club operating models and volunteer teams to improve the quality of activities.
Mr. Bui Dang Thanh - Vice Chairman of the Khanh Hoa Provincial Labor Federation, Head of the Trade Union Affairs Committee - said that the establishment of clubs is expected to create a practical foreign language learning environment, contributing to improving the integration capacity of union members and workers and meeting the development requirements of the local tourism industry.
This activity also contributes to the implementation of Resolution No. 09-NQ/TW of the Politburo on building and developing Khanh Hoa province to 2030, vision to 2045 and the Project "Building a learning society in the period 2021 - 2030".
The goal of the Provincial Labor Federation is to establish at least 20 English clubs at grassroots trade unions in the near future.

The clubs will operate periodically weekly or monthly, depending on the conditions of each unit. The content focuses on communication English, specialized tourism and trade English, communication skills with international guests, situation handling skills in the working environment and introducing culture, scenic spots, and Khanh Hoa specialties in English.
The program also aims to build the image of each union member and worker to become a "cultural messenger", contributing to promoting local tourism.
"Before being implemented in tourism businesses, the model was applied at the tourism cyclo trade union.
The selection of tourism businesses as a starting point will create a foundation for expanding English clubs in many grassroots trade unions, contributing to improving foreign language skills for workers in the new period" - Mr. Thanh emphasized.
