Established on March 1, 2025, the Provincial Party Committee Trade Union consists of 21 grassroots trade unions and 1 departmental trade union, with a total of more than 730 union members and workers.
During its activities, this Trade Union organization has focused on perfecting the apparatus, effectively implementing programs to care for union members' lives, improve working conditions and promote cultural, sports and emulation activities at agencies and units.
At the conference, the decision to dissolve the Provincial Party Committee Trade Union and 18 affiliated grassroots trade unions was announced. These units are mainly administrative agencies and public service units receiving 100% of their salaries from the state budget.
The dissolution takes effect from June 20, 2025. Accordingly, nearly 500 union members will no longer be members of the Trade Union after this time.
The trade unions of the dissolved units are responsible for completing the handover of the financial resources, assets of the trade union and the seal according to regulations.
The remaining grassroots trade unions in the public service unit sector that do not receive full salaries from the budget will be transferred to the Provincial Labor Federation for continued operation.
This is an important adjustment in the process of rearranging the trade union organization, in line with practical conditions after the merger of administrative units, while demonstrating the spirit of innovation and streamlining the organization according to the orientation of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.
