On the afternoon of June 18, the Bac Giang City Labor Federation held a conference to review trade union activities in the first 6 months of the year, summarizing trade union activities in the 2024-2025 school year.
Attending and directing the conference were Mr. Nguyen Manh Hung - Permanent Vice President of the Bac Giang Provincial Federation of Labor, members of the Executive Committee, Inspection Committee of the City Federation of Labor, chairmen of grassroots unions, collectives and individuals who were commended by the Provincial Federation of Labor in the patriotic emulation movement for the period 2020 - 2025, families of outstanding workers and civil servants and collectives and individuals who were commended in the 2024 - 2025 school year.
Under the leadership and direction of the Provincial Labor Federation and the Bac Giang City Party Committee, in the first 6 months of 2025, the movement of workers, civil servants and trade union activities of the city have achieved many positive results; the key targets and tasks assigned by the Provincial Labor Federation and the City Party Committee have all been achieved and exceeded the plan; they have done a good job of propaganda and education to raise awareness among union members and workers and civil servants.
The work of caring for and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of union members and workers has undergone many innovations; the work of grasping the ideological situation of workers and civil servants has been focused on; patriotic emulation movements, cultural, artistic and sports activities have been organized enthusiastically, attracting a large number of workers and civil servants to participate. The conference awarded prizes to collectives and individuals.
The Standing Committee of the City Labor Federation has announced the decision to dissolve the activities of 148 grassroots unions of administrative agencies, public service units, wards and communes receiving 100% of salaries from the state budget and decided to transfer the remaining 190 grassroots unions and unions to the Bac Giang Provincial Labor Federation for management.
This is an important step in the process of reorganizing the Trade Union system, ensuring compliance with practical conditions after the merger of administrative units and in accordance with the innovation orientation of the Trade Union organization.
Streamlining the organization is not only an administrative requirement, but also an opportunity to consolidate the organizational system in a streamlined, effective and efficient manner. Thereby, improving the quality of trade union activities in enterprises, ensuring the legitimate and legal rights and interests of union members and workers in the new development stage.
