Hoa Binh: More than 200 workers in industrial parks participate in trade union organizations

The Trade Union of Hoa Binh Industrial Parks summarizes the first 6 months of 2025, affirming its role in caring for and protecting employees, and stabilizing labor relations in enterprises.

On June 19, the Trade Union of Industrial Parks of Hoa Binh province said that the unit had just held a conference to review trade union work in the first 6 months of 2025, to evaluate the results of activities, recognize the efforts in representing, caring for, and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of union members and workers.

The conference also set out key tasks for the last 6 months of the year, emphasizing the improvement of the quality of grassroots trade union activities, promoting the development of union members, building harmonious, stable and progressive labor relations in enterprises.

As of June 2025, the whole bloc has 45 grassroots unions with 16,529 union members, of which women account for over 70%. The average income of union members and workers is about 6.5 million VND/person/month. Although the socio-economic situation has many fluctuations due to the impact of international conflicts and pressure on production costs, most businesses still ensure full implementation of labor laws. Notably, there were no labor disputes or work-related accidents during the period.

The Trade Union of Industrial Parks has directed and guided the Trade Unions to organize workers' conferences, periodic dialogues at the workplace, and implement grassroots democracy regulations. On the occasion of the Lunar New Year, more than 1,400 gifts were presented with a total cost of over 1.2 billion VND.

During Workers' Month and Month of Action on occupational safety and hygiene, many practical activities such as training, subsidy booths, sports festivals and visits and commendations for outstanding workers were organized.

The work of developing union members and establishing grassroots unions continues to be focused on. In the first 6 months of the year, the whole bloc developed 221 new union members. In addition, propaganda, women's work, finance and inspection work are deployed synchronously, ensuring compliance with regulations and efficiency.

According to Mr. Tran Phuong Dong - Chairman of the Trade Union of Industrial Parks of Hoa Binh province, in the coming time, the unit will continue to promote activities towards the grassroots level, taking care of workers' lives; improving the quality of trade union activities; widely disseminating legal policies, protecting the legitimate and legal rights of workers, aiming to build harmonious, stable and progressive labor relations in enterprises.
