On July 4, the Nui Thanh Commune Trade Union, Da Nang City, said that it had organized a signing ceremony for the 2026-2031 working coordination regulations with the People's Committees of Nui Thanh, Tam Anh, Tam Xuan, Tam My, Tam Hai and Duc Phu communes.
This is one of the first activities of the Nui Thanh Commune Trade Union after being established under the inter-communal trade union model, marking a new step in the method of coordination between trade union organizations and local authorities to better care for and protect the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of union members and workers.
According to the Decision of the Da Nang City Labor Federation, the Nui Thanh Commune Trade Union is organized according to the inter-communal trade union model, performing the task of managing and directing trade union activities in 6 communes including Nui Thanh, Tam Anh, Tam Xuan, Tam My, Tam Hai and Duc Phu.
The new model sets out the requirement to have a unified coordination mechanism between trade unions and local authorities to effectively perform the task of representing, caring for and protecting workers, while developing union members and establishing grassroots trade unions at enterprises.
From that requirement, the Nui Thanh Commune Trade Union has proactively advised and coordinated with the People's Committees of communes to build and sign the Regulation on coordination of work for the 2026-2031 period.
The Regulation clearly defines the responsibilities of each party in propaganda and dissemination of laws; implementing grassroots democracy regulations; organizing dialogues; inspecting and supervising the implementation of labor laws, social insurance, occupational safety and health; receiving and resolving workers' petitions; developing union members, establishing grassroots trade unions; taking care of the lives of union members and workers and promoting digital transformation in management activities.

A noteworthy point is that the Regulation is built in the direction of unifying a common coordination framework for the entire area, while supplementing contents suitable to the characteristics of each commune.
For localities with many businesses such as Nui Thanh and Tam Anh, the regulation supplements a coordination mechanism to establish Rapid Response Teams to promptly grasp and handle problems arising in labor relations, limit disputes and collective work stoppages.
For the remaining communes, the focus is to strengthen coordination in legal propaganda, develop trade union organizations, care for workers and build harmonious and stable labor relations.
Immediately after the signing ceremony, the Nui Thanh Commune Trade Union and the People's Committees of communes also agreed to implement the Plan to implement the 2026 Coordination Regulation with 8 key task groups, clearly defining the presiding unit, coordinating unit and implementation time, creating a basis for the contents of the Regulation to soon go into practice.
The signing of the Coordination Regulation not only creates a corridor for the government and trade union organizations to coordinate more closely in performing tasks but also demonstrates innovation in the operating methods of trade unions according to the inter-commune model.
From there, promote the role of local authorities in grasping the business situation, caring for workers, preventing and promptly resolving problems arising in labor relations.
This is an important premise to improve the effectiveness of trade union activities, contributing to building harmonious, stable, progressive labor relations and promoting socio-economic development in the southern area of Da Nang city.
