On March 22, the Trade Union of the Kon Tum Provincial Women's Union announced that the unit had held a sponsorship ceremony for Y Linh, an orphan who is being raised at the Kon Tum Provincial Social Protection Center.
Y Linh was born in 2012, of Xor Dang ethnic group, and is in a particularly difficult situation when she lost both parents. In 2024, the children and sisters were taken to the Social Protection Center for care because they had no longer had a place to rest.
With the spirit of "mutual love and support", the grassroots trade union of the Kon Tum Provincial Women's Union hopes to become a fulcrum to help Y Linh have a better future.
This is a practical activity, spreading the humane message of the "Godsmother" Program launched by the Vietnam Women's Union.
Y Linh is the second orphan sponsored by the grassroots union, demonstrating the organization's cooperation in caring for and supporting children in difficult circumstances.
