In a series of activities to celebrate the 64th Anniversary of the Traditional Day of April 30th Hospital (under the People's Police Trade Union), the 81st Anniversary of the Traditional Day of the People's Police Force (CAND), the 21st Anniversary of the All People's Day for National Security Protection and National Day 2.9, the Trade Union of April 30th Hospital in coordination with the Women's Union and the Youth Union of the Hospital organized the expanded April 30th Hospital Badminton Tournament in 2026.
According to the Trade Union of Hospital 30.4, the tournament not only improves spiritual life but is also a bridge to tighten solidarity between officers, soldiers, and employees of Hospital 30.4 and friendly units. This year, the tournament is exciting with the participation of athletes from the People's Police University and the 8th Mobile Police Regiment.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Trung Cang - Deputy Director of Hospital 30.4 emphasized: "The sports movement not only contributes to improving health and spiritual life but is also a bridge to strengthen the spirit of solidarity and exchange between units. We hope that athletes will contribute beautiful, honest and noble matches.
The tournament gathers 11 male pairs and 6 mixed-due pairs, the matches are extremely dramatic with many beautiful bridge moves.
In the end, the Organizing Committee awarded first, second, and third prizes for the men's doubles event; first, second, and third prizes for the mixed doubles event.
The tournament closed with resounding success, adding to the exciting emulation atmosphere and strongly spreading the movement of physical training following the example of the great Uncle Ho throughout the force.
