Information from the An Hoi Tay Ward Labor Union, Ho Chi Minh City on July 14 said that the An Hoi Tay Ward Labor Union has just coordinated with the People's Committee, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and the ward's organizations to organize a voluntary blood donation festival in 2025.
The festival attracted more than 180 union officials, union members, employees and people in the ward to participate in voluntary blood donation. Through screening, 146 people were eligible to donate blood, of which 9 people donated 450ml and 137 people donated 350ml.
This is an activity to celebrate the 96th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Trade Union (July 28, 1929 - July 28, 2025) and to celebrate the 1st An Hoi Tay Ward Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030.
At the same time, this activity aims to implement Official Letter No. 3199/LDLD-TGNC of the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation on strengthening the work of mobilizing union members and workers to participate in voluntary blood donation, continuing to affirm the role of trade unions in caring for community health, contributing to building a humane, healthy and developing society.
