130 workers participate in voluntary blood donation

    HCMC - The HCMC People's Committee Trade Union coordinated to organize for union members and workers to donate blood voluntarily.

    Information from the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Trade Union on June 19 said that the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Trade Union has just coordinated with the Ho Chi Minh City High-Tech Park Labor Culture House and the Dayoung Electronics Vina Company Limited Trade Union to organize a voluntary blood donation program in 2025.

    Nearly 150 union members and workers of Dayoung Electronics Vina Company Limited participated in this blood donation.

    Before donating blood, union members and workers are consulted and checked for health to ensure they receive a clean and safe blood source.

    As a result, 130 workers were eligible to donate blood and donated 130 blood bags from 350 ml to 450 ml.

    Voluntary blood donation contributes to overcoming the shortage of blood sources used in the treatment of patients. At the same time, raise awareness and responsibility of union members and workers about the purpose and significance of voluntary blood donation.
