On the afternoon of December 25, the Hai Chau Ward Trade Union (Da Nang City) held a conference to inform the results of the 1st City Trade Union Congress, term 2025 - 2030 and held a meeting with the grassroots trade union committee in the fourth quarter of 2025.
At the conference, the Hai Chau Ward Trade Union officially announced the decision to establish and launch the Provisional Executive Committee for 3 new units including: the Trade Union of Nam Tri Investment Joint Stock Company, the Trade Union of enjoyworks Company Limited and the Trade Union of SkyChip Solutions Vietnam Company Limited.
The establishment of these new grassroots trade unions not only contributes to expanding the network of local trade union organizations but also affirms the accompanying role of ward trade unions in protecting the legitimate rights and interests of workers at technology and investment enterprises.
As of the end of 2025, Hai Chau Ward Trade Union is currently directly managing 185 grassroots unions with a total of more than 9,005 union members. In the last 5 months of the year, the unit has mobilized the establishment of 9 new grassroots unions.
Reporting at the conference, Mr. Luong Duc Quan - Vice Chairman of Hai Chau Ward Trade Union said that since its establishment (July 2025) according to the 2-level government model, the ward Trade Union has implemented a series of activities towards the grassroots.
Notably, the "Union Shelter" program has supported the construction and repair of 6 houses with a total cost of 240 million VND. In particular, after the recent historic flood in Da Nang, the Ward Union promptly visited and supported 371 union members who suffered losses with a total amount of more than 740 million VND.
In addition to social security activities, the Ward Union is also a pioneer in supporting union members to access technology. Training sessions on AI (artificial intelligence) application, ChatGPT and the "Digital cradle platform" have helped more than 100 union officials improve their working capacity in the digital age.
At the conference, Mr. Nguyen Dinh Trung, Chairman of Hai Chau Ward Trade Union, also quickly informed the results of the 1st Da Nang City Trade Union Congress, term 2025-2030. The Hai Chau Ward Labor Union is committed to concretizing the Congress Resolution into practical actions, taking workers as the center in all activities.
