On December 25, the Department of Construction of Dong Nai province proposed to dismantle toll stations on National Highway 51 and toll stations on Dong Nai bridge on National Highway 1, the section passing through the province.
For National Highway 51, the Department of Construction of Dong Nai province proposed to dismantle toll stations T1 (Km10+778) and toll station T2 (Km28+450).
Through management, the Department of Construction of Dong Nai province found that toll stations T1 and T2 no longer have the function of exploitation but still have the structure of station houses, traffic island, pillar foundations, signs and auxiliary items. The existence of the above-mentioned ineffective toll stations is causing traffic conflicts, obstructing visibility, narrowing existing road surfaces and posing a very high risk of traffic accidents, especially at the end of the year due to increased demand for travel and freight transport.

Therefore, to ensure traffic safety and protect the safety of people's lives and property when traveling through the area, the Department of Construction of Dong Nai province requests the Vietnam Road Administration, Road Management Area IV, and BVEC to coordinate and organize the dismantling of these toll stations before January 15, 2026, at the same time as dismantling the T3 toll station on National Highway 51, the section passing through Ho Chi Minh City.
During the existence period, if incidents occurred due to the existence of the above road toll station, BVEC will be fully responsible according to current regulations.
The Department of Construction of Dong Nai province also requested the Road Management Area IV to promptly dismantle the Dong Nai bridge toll station on National Highway 1, contributing to urban beautification, ensuring safety, preventing traffic congestion and overcoming potential traffic accident points, synchronously reducing the cross-section across the entire route, as well as resolving concerns and recommendations from voters in the area.
