On July 23, Ninh Hoa Ward Trade Union organized a program to celebrate the 97th anniversary of the establishment of the Vietnam Trade Union (July 28, 1929 - July 28, 2026).
At the program, Mr. Ho Hoang Quang Vu - Chairman of Ninh Hoa Ward Trade Union - reviewed the traditions of the Trade Union organization and expressed gratitude for the contributions of union members and workers in the area.
After implementing the two-level local government model, the ward has 19 grassroots trade unions (CĐCS), mostly small and medium-sized enterprises.
Over the past time, the Ward Trade Union has coordinated with grassroots trade unions to grasp the situation of labor relations, employment, and income of workers; supervise the implementation of regimes and welfare policies, contributing to protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of union members.
Caring work continues to be maintained with many practical activities. Notably, during the Binh Ngo Lunar New Year 2026, the Ward Trade Union coordinated to review and proposed that the Provincial Labor Federation (LĐLĐ) support 100 gifts (1 million VND each) for union members in difficult circumstances.
In Workers' Month 2026, the unit coordinated to present 10 gifts, each worth 1 million VND, 30 gifts, each worth 250,000 VND, and 9 Trade Union shirts to union members in difficult circumstances and suffering from serious illnesses.
The Ward Trade Union also promotes propaganda on the guidelines and policies of the Party, the State and the Trade Union organization through social networks, electronic boards, and banners at enterprises.
At the same time, introduced 15 outstanding union members for the Party to consider admitting; coordinated propaganda to establish grassroots trade unions at 2 enterprises, and mobilized the establishment of Ninh Hoa Construction Workers' Union.
At the program, grassroots trade unions, union members, and workers all emphasized that the Trade Union organization is always the common home of workers.
To make trade union activities increasingly practical, many thoughts, aspirations as well as practical proposals and initiatives from grassroots trade unions and union members are shared.
In which, it is proposed to soon issue specific regulations on the functions, tasks, working relationships and financial mechanisms of the Ward Trade Union to be consistent with the new organizational model. At the same time, develop programs to support union members in a long-term and sustainable direction...
Ms. Tran Thi Huong - Vice Chairwoman of the Khanh Hoa Provincial Labor Federation - acknowledged the efforts of the Ninh Hoa Ward Trade Union in the initial stage of operating model transformation.
According to Ms. Huong, the work of allocating operating funds for ward trade unions has been implemented. In the coming time, trade union activities will continue to be innovated in a more grassroots-oriented direction.
Ms. Huong also proposed that grassroots trade unions promote the emulation movement for labor production, improve productivity, improve income and build many effective care models, oriented towards the right target audience.
