On the occasion of the Binh Ngo Lunar New Year 2026, the Trade Union of Soc Trang Obstetrics and Pediatrics Hospital (Can Tho City) has organized many practical activities to care for the material and spiritual life of union members, officials, civil servants, public employees and workers.
The highlight in the series of activities is the "Trade Union Year-End Meal" program, held for 3 days, from May 3 - 2, 2026. Union members are served lunch with a nutritious menu including white rice, braised pork with duck eggs, seaweed soup and yogurt. For vegetarian union members, the union arranges vegetarian meals according to registration, ensuring needs and convenience for workers. Trade union group leaders directly receive and distribute meals to each union member in the group.
In addition, the grassroots Trade Union also organized visits and Tet gifts for union members, with each gift worth 400,000 VND, promptly encouraging and supporting workers to feel secure in their work and celebrate the traditional Tet in a warm and meaningful atmosphere.
In parallel with the above activities, the "Tet Market for Obstetrics and Pediatrics" program is also being implemented, creating conditions for union members and workers to shop for essential items to serve Tet. The Trade Union Women's Committee has coordinated to bring quality OCOP products and Da Lat vegetables and fruits to workplaces, with preferential prices, quality assurance and direct delivery, helping union members save time and costs.
According to Ms. Duong Thi Hoang Yen - Chairwoman of the grassroots Trade Union of the Hospital - the series of Tet care activities clearly shows the role and responsibility of the Trade Union organization in accompanying union members and workers. Thereby, contributing to spreading the spirit of "Tet reunion - Spring of gratitude to the Party", consolidating the trust and attachment of union members to agencies, units and trade union organizations.
