Accordingly, the conference approved the draft reports and programs: Results of Trade Union activities in 2024; directions and key tasks in 2025; work program in 2025; inspection and supervision of trade unions in 2024; inspection and supervision program of the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, Inspection Committee of the Provincial Federation of Labor in 2025.
At the same time, the conference thoroughly grasped important policies and contents such as the arrangement and streamlining of the trade union organization apparatus according to Resolution 18-NQ/TW dated October 25, 2017 of the Party Central Committee; Conclusion 89-KL/TW dated July 25, 2024 of the Politburo; and Directive 40-CT/TW dated December 11, 2024 on organizing the Lunar New Year 2025.
In 2024, Son La provincial trade unions at all levels have implemented many diverse, innovative and effective forms of activities. Many emulation movements have been organized, encouraging initiatives and innovations to improve labor productivity and work efficiency. During the year, nearly 60,000 union members and workers were taken care of with a total amount of nearly 13 billion VND.
The Provincial Federation of Labor has also newly established 19 grassroots trade unions and developed nearly 1,600 union members, reaching 130% of the target set by the Resolution of the 15th Provincial Trade Union Congress.
The Provincial Federation of Labor has launched an emulation movement with the theme: "Determination to innovate, actively create, improve labor productivity, work efficiency, save, and fight waste." The emulation program aims to celebrate major holidays, party congresses at all levels, and the 11th National Patriotic Emulation Congress in 2025.
On this occasion, the Provincial Federation of Labor awarded emulation flags to 3 collectives and certificates of merit to 2 collectives and 2 individuals with outstanding achievements in the emulation movement and trade union activities in 2024.
