Currently, the Hospital Trade Union has 37 trade union groups with 740 union members and workers. Under the attention of the Lao Cai Provincial Labor Federation and the leadership of the Hospital Party Committee, trade union activities are increasingly associated with professional tasks, creating positive changes in the spirit and attitude of serving patients.
Identifying taking care of union members as a key task, the Trade Union coordinates to ensure full regimes and policies, contributing to stabilizing income for workers, averaging more than 15.2 million VND/person/month.
At the same time, creating conditions for officials and doctors to improve their professional qualifications, master nearly 800 techniques, meeting the increasing demand for medical examination and treatment of people in Lao Cai province.

Cultural, sports, sightseeing, and resort activities are maintained regularly, helping union members regenerate labor and strengthen cohesion.
From emulation movements, the Hospital has had 46 scientific research topics, 432 grassroots-level initiatives and 25 provincial-level initiatives, many initiatives have been effectively applied in practice, improving the quality of medical examination and treatment.
The work of caring for union members in difficult circumstances has also been promptly concerned. In the past two years, the Trade Union has supported 350 union members with a total budget of more than 850 million VND, contributing to helping workers overcome difficulties and feel secure in their work.
