On November 11, the Gia Lai Provincial Federation of Labor said that according to initial statistics, storm No. 13 damaged 380 houses of union members and workers in the province, causing damage to many properties.
Of which, 4 houses collapsed, 75 houses had their roofs completely blown off, 253 houses had their roofs partially blown off and 43 cases were flooded, causing property damage.

Immediately after the storm, leaders of the Gia Lai Provincial Federation of Labor directly visited and presented support to a number of union members and workers whose houses were severely damaged, each case with 2 million VND.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Le (born in 1992, residing in Binh Dinh Ward, Gia Lai) - a worker at Bao Tin Garment Company Limited - said that after a strong storm passed, her house had only 4 walls left, the roof was blown away, and many furniture were severely damaged.

"The house has many roofs and cracked walls, the whole family has to live temporarily, it is not known when they will have enough money to renovate. With the support and encouragement of the Union, my family is very grateful. Although the gift is not big, it is very warm, helping to share some of the difficulties," Ms. Le shared.
Mr. Truong The Hoang - a worker at An Khe Road Factory - said: "The storm had terrible winds, causing the house to collapse in just a short time. The loss of more than 160 million VND is too great for a worker like me. With the support of the Union, I feel somewhat comforted. I just hope that God will take away my wealth to compensate my health so that I can still do business and rebuild my house soon".

Mr. Ha Duy Trung - Chairman of the Gia Lai Provincial Federation of Labor - said that immediately after the storm, the Provincial Federation of Labor coordinated with localities to review and count the number of union members and workers whose roofs collapsed, whose houses were damaged, to propose support from the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.
"In the immediate future, the Provincial Trade Union also visited and provided initial support to cases of heavy damage to encourage the spirit of union members and workers to overcome difficulties soon. In addition, the Trade Union at all levels also mobilizes workers to support businesses in rebuilding factories and quickly restoring production," Mr. Trung informed.
