In enterprises, developing party members still faces many difficulties. Mr. Cao Huu Trong Bac - Chairman of the Trade Union of Lefaso Tra Vinh Investment & Production Joint Stock Company pointed out that developing the source of Party inflows among workers still faces many challenges.
Most workers have difficult circumstances and spend time making a living, so they are still afraid to participate in politics; at the same time, the limited awareness of the Party ideal is also a significant barrier.
However, Mr. Bac also said that thanks to the active support of the Trade Union organization in propagating and organizing emulation movements, taking care of the material and spiritual life of workers, the Party development work has still achieved encouraging results.
This is clearly demonstrated in the case of young Party member Nguyen Phu Qui - Member of the Party Cell Executive Committee, Member of the Trade Union Standing Committee, Secretary of the Lefaso Tra Vinh Company Youth Union.
He is one of the active core members of the movement, always a pioneer in cultural, sports and volunteer activities, while playing the role of gathering union members and connecting workers.
Mr. Qui said that his work cannot be done alone, but requires coordination and consensus from union members. When we are truly sharing, willing to work together, happy together, they will trust and try together. That is how he spreads the ideals and spirit of party members.
Mr. Le Chi Nho - Party Cell Secretary of My Phong Leather Shoes Company Limited - said that developing Party members in enterprises is important in building a stable and long-term political foundation.
The company's leaders also closely coordinated with the Party Cell and the Trade Union in creating a favorable environment for workers to practice and demonstrate their abilities, thereby selecting and introducing outstanding factors to the Party.
Ms. Tran Thi Kim Chung - President of the Tra Vinh Provincial Federation of Labor - said that currently, the whole province has 61 grassroots Party organizations in enterprises, with 841 Party members.
From 2018 to present, the Trade Unions at all levels have introduced 467 outstanding union members as workers and 264 comrades have been admitted to the Party - this is a vivid testament to the active participation of the Trade Unions at all levels in Party building.
According to Ms. Tran Thi Kim Chung, clearly identifying the role of the Trade Union not only to protect the rights of workers, but also to be a bridge to help workers raise political awareness, foster living ideals, and develop comprehensively.
Movement and propaganda activities at the grassroots level not only help union members become more attached to the organization but also create an environment for them to practice and strive to become party members.
"In the coming time, through emulation movements for production labor of workers in companies and enterprises, the Provincial Federation of Labor will continue to direct trade unions at all levels to strengthen the work of detecting and fostering resources.
Proactively coordinate with Party committees, authorities and enterprises to build a team of workers who are both "pink" and "professional" Party members," added the Chairman of the Provincial Federation of Labor.
