The People's Security University (ANND) Trade Union has just successfully organized the 7th grassroots trade union congress for the 2025-2030 term.
Attending and directing the congress were Lieutenant Colonel Cong Thanh Thao - Member of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Head of the People's Public Security Trade Union (CAND); Colonel Pham Duy Hoang, Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, Vice Principal, and representatives of the leaders of units with union members and mass organizations under the People's Procuracy University and union members attending the Congress; Chairman of the Trade Unions of units in Emulation Bloc No. 2.
With the spirit of "Solidarity - Democracy - Discipline - Innovation - Development", the ANND University Trade Union Congress focused on evaluating the results of trade union work and the workers' movement in the 2023-2025 period, setting out directions, goals; tasks and solutions for trade union activities for the 2025-2030 term, electing the Executive Committee of the Trade Union of the School for the 2025-2030 term and electing delegates to attend the CAND Trade Union Congress for the 2025-2030 term.
In the past period, the School Union has made an important contribution to the comprehensive development of the school, reaching and exceeding the targets set at the beginning of the term. Many cadres and union members were commended and recognized by leaders of the Ministry of Public Security, schools and the People's Public Security Trade Union for their achievements in professional work and movement activities. Truong Trade Union has received 2 Emulation Flags from the People's Public Security Trade Union in the period of 2023-2025, a unit honored as a typical advanced unit in the People's Public Security Trade Union in the period of 2020-2025, hundreds of union members and Trade Union Groups have received awards at all levels.
Speaking at the congress, Lieutenant Colonel Cong Thanh Thao emphasized that the Trade Union of ANND University has performed well its function of representing and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of union members and workers, especially effectively implementing many practical and creative welfare programs such as "Union Tet Market" with "Zero-dong booth", "Union bus trip", "Happy Tet with union members' families", "Union adopted children", "Health recovery class for union members after work hours" ... has launched and organized emulation movements "Good workers, Creative workers", with 25 tasks associated with professional work and political tasks of the school, attracting a large number of union members to participate.
To continue promoting the achievements, the ANND University Trade Union needs to focus on successfully implementing the goals and tasks of the 2025-2030 term, in which, it is necessary to focus on implementing the 3 breakthroughs set out at the Congress.
Colonel Pham Duy Hoang affirmed that the programs and activities of the School Union are implemented practically and creatively, both ensuring rights and fostering the spirit of solidarity and cohesion among the mass organizations of the School. Those results not only demonstrate the role and responsibility of the Trade Union organization, but also contribute significantly to building a positive and humane working environment and spreading a beautiful image of the People's Public Security Trade Union members in the new period...
The Congress elected the Executive Committee of the Trade Union for the 2025-2030 term, including 3 comrades, and elected a delegation to attend the 7th Congress of the CAND Trade Union, the 2025-2030 term, including 2 official delegates and 1 absent delegate.
