The Vinh Long Provincial Federation of Labor (VFF) manages 724 grassroots unions and trade unions with 173,520 union members/183,515 workers.
According to the report, from September 1-5, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Federation of Labor assigned staff to be on duty for the National Day holiday on September 2; attending conferences, celebrations, and opening the new school year; instructing grassroots unions to promote environmental protection propaganda.
The unit will spend regimes and policies according to Decree 178/2024/ND-CP and Decree 67/2025/ND-CP for 3 full-time union officials with a total amount of VND 5.316 billion; at the same time, prepare to organize the provincial-level "Full Moon Festival Night" program in 2025.
The Provincial Federation of Labor also selected 3 typical advanced examples to attend the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Conference and introduced 2 collectives and 5 individuals to attend the 11th National Patriotic Emulation Congress for workers, civil servants and laborers.
Grassroots unions have organized to care for union members on the occasion of National Day 2/9, giving hundreds of gifts and allowances for disadvantage worth more than 60 million VND.
In particular, the Trade Union of Jacobi Carbons VN Company in coordination with CEP Vinh Long Fund supported loans for 407 union members and workers with a total amount of over 7 billion VND.
Next week (September 8 - 12), the Provincial Federation of Labor will focus on developing union members, launching 3 new grassroots unions with about 400 union members; perfecting the organization, renaming grassroots unions according to regulations.
The unit will summarize lending activities and emulation movements in the 2020 - 2025 period; hand over 6 "Union Shelter" houses; allocate Mid-Autumn Festival gifts and scholarships to union members' children.
At the same time, continue to encourage union members to participate in online contests to learn about the Party's resolutions, the 10th Golden Hammer and Sickle Award and register to participate in the 2025 Vietnam Workers and Civil Servants Football Tournament.
