According to a report from the Vinh Long Provincial Labor Federation (LDLD), from December 22 - 27, the Provincial LDLD focused on directing and implementing many key activities, ensuring the progress of tasks after the Provincial Trade Union Congress for the term 2025-2030.
During the week, the Standing Committee and the Standing Committee of the Provincial Labor Federation organized a meeting to draw experience from the preparation and organization of the 1st Provincial Trade Union Congress, term 2025-2030; and at the same time organized the Standing Committee Conference on December 27 to collect opinions on many important drafts.
The contents discussed include the action program to implement the Resolution of the Provincial Trade Union Congress, the full-term working program, the operating regulations of the Executive Committee, and the assignment of tasks to members of the Executive Committee and the Standing Committee of the I term, term 2025-2030.
The Standing Committee also approved the 2026 Trade Union Work Program, deployed activities to celebrate the Party, celebrate Spring and organized the "Tet Sum vay - Spring of Gratitude to the Party" Program in 2026, associated with the emulation movement to celebrate major congresses.
During the week, the Chairman of the Provincial Labor Federation attended the 2nd Conference of the 14th Giao Long Commune Party Committee Executive Committee and attended the 1st Dong Thap Provincial Trade Union Congress, term 2025-2030.
The Vice Chairmen and members of the Standing Committee attended many important events such as the Tay Ninh Provincial Trade Union Congress, the conference to guide and introduce candidates for National Assembly deputies of the XVI term, provincial People's Council deputies for the 2026-2031 term and the conference to summarize the Red Cross work in 2025.
Regarding professional results, the Provincial Labor Federation submitted to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Vinh Long province to request a policy to organize the "Tet Sum vay - Spring of Gratitude to the Party" Program in 2026; submitted to the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor to propose that the President award the Second-class Labor Medal to 3 individuals.
Along with that, the Vinh Long Provincial Labor Federation has appraised the dossier for establishing commune and ward trade unions, and as a result, 3/13 units met the conditions; newly established 1 grassroots trade union with 9 union members, raising the total number of recognized grassroots trade unions to 432 units.
Inspection and supervision work continues to be strengthened, with the inspection and supervision of 5 affiliated grassroots trade unions; organizing the first Conference of the Inspection Committee, contributing opinions on many documents orienting the inspection work for the new term.
During the week, the Provincial Labor Federation allocated the number of collectives and individuals requesting commendation in 2025; and at the same time issued many documents related to taking care of Tet for union members in difficult circumstances, gender equality, occupational safety and health, and digital transformation in the Front system.
