According to a report by the Vinh Long Provincial Labor Federation, from August 3 to 9, trade union levels focused on tasks, notably mobilizing union members to participate in an online contest to learn about Resolution 72-NQ/TW.
The contest attracted 2,335 turns of union members, officials and employees at affiliated health units to participate, showing the spirit of responsibility and awareness of studying the Party's resolutions.
During the week, the Chairman of the Provincial Labor Federation attended the training class for key trade union officials in 2026 organized by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and met with voters.
The Provincial Labor Federation continues to guide grassroots Trade Unions to prepare for the 2026-2030 term Congress; assign 3 working groups to monitor, inspect, evaluate activities and evaluate emulation.
At the same time, the Provincial Labor Federation is implementing the emulation movement "Good labor, high productivity, good income" for the 2026-2031 period, working with 2 enterprises to guide implementation.
The Inspection Committee inspected the compliance with the Charter of the Vietnam Trade Union, financial and asset management at 5 grassroots trade unions; the supervisory delegation inspected policies and laws at 3 enterprises.
At Luong Quoi Coconut Processing Co., Ltd., the grassroots trade union organized the 2nd blood donation drive, receiving 108 units. After two drives, the unit mobilized 224 units of blood.
To date, the Vinh Long Provincial Labor Federation manages 7 Commune and Ward Trade Unions; 655 grassroots trade unions, grassroots professional unions with 178,087 union members over 185,677 workers.
