According to a report by the Vinh Long Provincial Labor Federation, from July 1 to June 6, trade union levels continued to implement many activities to care for union members and workers, while promoting the emulation movement for labor production and organization building work.
The highlight is the delegation of the Provincial Trade Union attending the 14th Vietnam Trade Union Congress, term 2026 - 2031. The Standing Committee of the Provincial Labor Federation also organized a program to respond to the emulation movement "Good labor, high productivity, good income" in the 2026 - 2031 period at Ty Xuan Co., Ltd.
At the program, 900 union members and workers in difficult circumstances were examined, consulted on health and provided with free medicine. On this occasion, 248 union members with critical illnesses, work accidents or difficult circumstances were given support gifts, contributing to encouraging workers to overcome difficulties and stabilize their lives.
In addition, the inspection team of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Labor Federation conducted an inspection of the compliance with the Charter of the Vietnam Trade Union at the grassroots trade union of FAS Vinh Long Co., Ltd.; and at the same time sent officials to participate in information security training and worker sports activities organized by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.
At the grassroots level, many activities to care for children of union members and workers are being actively implemented on the occasion of International Children's Day. Thousands of gifts, scholarships and bonuses have been awarded by businesses and grassroots trade unions, along with health check-up programs, learning support and encouraging effective labor production.
