Bringing joy to the boarding house
Gifts and visits and encouragement from trade union officials brought joy to workers in boarding houses in Vinh Long. More than 100 turns of workers participated in the program, clearly feeling the companionship of the Trade Union organization in daily life.
At the boarding house area in Phuoc Hoa hamlet, Phu Quoi commune, where many workers work in Hoa Phu Industrial Park, 50 union members and workers in difficult circumstances received gifts, participated in games and quizzes with prizes, and listened to legal propaganda on security and order, and crime prevention.
Ms. Nguyen Cam Thi, a worker working at Hoa Phu Industrial Park, said that she was very touched to see trade union officials come to the boarding house area to visit. According to her, what makes workers happy is not only the gifts but also the care and sharing from the organization that always accompanies workers.

Female workers shared that life away from home is still difficult, so programs organized right at their homes help workers feel cared for, adding motivation to feel secure in working and sticking with the business for a long time.
At Boarding House 68, Long Duc ward, the program atmosphere was also exciting with the participation of more than 50 workers working at businesses in Long Duc Industrial Park. Laughter from group games contributed to dispelling some of the pressure after hard working days.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Hanh, a worker working at Long Duc Industrial Park, said she was very happy and surprised to have trade union leaders and local authorities come to her rented room to visit. She hopes that the program will continue to be organized regularly so that more workers have the opportunity to exchange, share and receive more practical attention.
Not just material support
Ms. Lam Thi Ngoc Ha - Chairwoman of the grassroots Trade Union of Ty Bach Co., Ltd. said that the program is aimed at workers' boarding houses with practical meaning, not only providing material support but also creating conditions for workers to meet, exchange and connect more with the Trade Union organization.
According to Ms. Ha, many workers are renting rooms far from their families, so they need to be cared for in terms of spiritual life. Organizing activities right in their homes helps workers access useful information and contributes to building a united and civilized living environment.
Ms. Vo Thi Thu Oanh - Vice President of Vinh Long Provincial Labor Federation - said that the program aims to bring trade union activities closer to workers in boarding houses, contributing to legal propaganda and building a safe and meaningful living environment.

According to Ms. Oanh, in addition to giving 100 gifts to workers at two locations, the Vinh Long Provincial Labor Federation also organized many exchange activities, games and legal propaganda, contributing to caring for the spiritual life of workers.
The Vice Chairman of the Provincial Labor Federation affirmed that the Trade Union always accompanies workers not only at the enterprise but also at the place of residence. Visits to boarding houses show concern and sharing with workers.
Ms. Vo Thi Thu Oanh hopes that workers will continue to strive to work and produce, strictly comply with the law and jointly build a united, civilized, and safe boarding house area; considering accommodation as a common home to support each other in life.
