News from the Trade Union of Chien Dan commune, Da Nang city on July 12 said: authorized by the Da Nang City Labor Federation, the Trade Union of Chien Dan commune organized a conference to announce the decision to establish 2 grassroots trade unions and admit new union members at businesses in the area.
At the conference, the Chien Dan Commune Trade Union announced decisions on the establishment of the grassroots Trade Union, appointing the Executive Committee, including the grassroots Trade Union of Winstar Sports Equipment Co., Ltd. with 39 members and the grassroots Trade Union of Tam Duc Medic Medical Co., Ltd. with 27 members.
Speaking at the conference, leaders of the Chien Dan Commune Trade Union congratulated the two newly established grassroots trade unions and new members joining the Vietnam Trade Union organization.
At the same time, it is proposed that the Executive Committees of grassroots trade unions urgently consolidate their organizations, develop operating regulations, and assign specific tasks to each Executive Committee member; proactively coordinate with employers to well implement grassroots democracy regulations, care for and protect the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of union members and workers.
In addition, grassroots trade unions need to promote propaganda and mobilize union members and workers to strictly comply with the Party's guidelines, policies and laws of the State, regulations and rules of enterprises; actively launch patriotic emulation movements, good labor, creative labor, contributing to improving productivity, quality, production and business efficiency and building harmonious, stable, and progressive labor relations at enterprises.
The establishment of 2 more grassroots trade unions and the admission of 66 new union members is a positive result in the work of developing union members and building the Trade Union organization of the Chien Dan Commune Trade Union.
This is also an important milestone contributing to increasing the proportion of enterprises with Trade Union organizations in the area, affirming the role of representing, caring for, and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of workers, and at the same time continuing to consolidate and develop the Trade Union organization to become increasingly strong, meeting the requirements of tasks in the new period.
