Co-chairing the Conference were Mr. Thach Van Chung - Member of the Standing Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Chairman of the Bac Ninh Provincial Labor Federation; Mr. Tran Van Ha - Deputy Director of the Department of Home Affairs; Mr. Nguyen Nhu Long - Deputy Head of the Provincial Industrial Parks Management Board; Mr. Pham Trong Hue - Deputy Director of the Provincial Social Insurance; Mr. Chu Ba Huy - Deputy Head of the Economic Security Department, Provincial Police.

The Conference was attended by more than 300 trade union officials, union members, and workers representing nearly 700,000 union members and workers throughout the province.

At the Conference, there were 23 direct opinions from trade union officials, union members, and workers focusing on reflecting many practical issues related to life and employment.

Many opinions expressed concern about the limit on overtime hours, saying that no longer having overtime hours at many electronics businesses has directly affected the income of workers. Delegates also proposed to study solutions to harmonize between protecting workers' health and increasing income needs and stabilizing human resources for businesses.

One of the contents that many delegates are interested in is infrastructure and traffic safety in industrial parks.

Opinions reflected the frequent congestion on roads connecting to Quang Chau, Van Trung, VSIP Bac Ninh I, Dinh Tram industrial parks... ; proposed to strengthen traffic diversion, control trucks and container trucks during peak hours, promptly repair traffic light systems, maintain road surfaces and invest in completing traffic infrastructure to ensure safe and convenient travel for workers.

In addition, many delegates proposed that the province continue to pay attention to developing social housing, worker housing, kindergartens, cultural and sports facilities serving workers; strengthen inspection and examination of meal quality, food safety at enterprises...

Answering the opinions of union members and workers, leaders of the Department of Home Affairs, Provincial Social Insurance, Provincial Industrial Zones Authority, Provincial Police and related agencies directly exchanged and answered many contents under their authority.

Concluding the conference, the Chairman of the Bac Ninh Provincial Labor Federation affirmed that all opinions of union members and workers will be summarized and classified by the Provincial Labor Federation according to each group of contents to be transferred to competent agencies for consideration and resolution.

Contents under the authority of departments and branches will continue to be coordinated for handling; the results of answering will be publicized on the Provincial Labor Federation Electronic Information Portal and the digital platforms of the Trade Union organization, creating conditions for union members and workers to conveniently monitor.

Regarding issues of concern to many union members, especially social housing for workers, he said that the Provincial Labor Federation has proactively conducted an independent survey with more than 10,000 opinions to more accurately assess the actual needs of workers.

Survey results show that the majority of migrant workers have a higher demand for renting social housing than for buying or renting-purchasing.

On that basis, the Provincial Labor Federation has proposed to the Provincial People's Committee to assign the Department of Construction to continue to coordinate in researching and perfecting policies, and at the same time in August, to publicize projects, legal procedures and support information so that union members and workers can easily access social housing policies.

Regarding the issue of overtime, Mr. Thach Van Chung said that in reality, the needs of workers in each enterprise and each industry are not completely the same.

Some businesses want to reduce working hours to ensure health, but there are also many workers who want to increase overtime to improve income and stabilize family life.

Therefore, the Provincial Labor Federation will continue to survey and specifically assess each group of subjects, thereby guiding grassroots trade unions to strengthen negotiations with employers, ensuring harmony between the interests of businesses and the legitimate rights of workers.

Regarding Party development in foreign-invested enterprises (FDI), the Provincial Labor Federation will continue to coordinate with Party committees, authorities, and enterprises to promote propaganda and training, creating a source of Party member development among workers.

On this occasion, the Provincial Labor Federation presented 100 gifts to union members and workers in difficult circumstances.
