Warm year-end party of the Trade Union
In the last days of the lunar year, at the rubber latex processing workshop of Song Con Tan Ky Agricultural Joint Stock Company (Nghe An), the year-end meal is not only a meal to close a year of hard work but also a place to connect the solidarity of union members and workers.
The special thing about the meal is that most of the dishes are prepared by union members themselves together. From green vegetables taken care of and harvested by brothers in the unit's premises to simple dishes prepared in joyful laughter, everything creates a warm atmosphere, full of colleagues.
In that intimate space, company leaders, trade union organizations and workers gathered, shared, and sent New Year wishes for health, happiness, adding motivation to enter the new year with new determination.
A simple but meaningful meal clearly demonstrated the role of the Trade Union organization in caring for spiritual life, creating cohesion and consensus between workers and businesses.
Not only stopping at the factory, the spirit of "Trade Union Accompanying" also spreads to the community. On January 14, 2026, the grassroots Trade Union of Luxshare-ICT Nghe An Co., Ltd. and the grassroots Trade Union of Luxshare-ICT Nghe An II Company Bloc coordinated with businesses to organize a program to visit and give gifts at Muong Long 2 Ethnic Minority Boarding Primary School and some families and workers in difficult circumstances in Muong Long commune.
At the program, 21 gifts were given to students, households and workers in difficult circumstances. The school and the highland teachers team also received a common gift including cakes, candies, umbrellas and a set of teapots to encourage the spirit of teaching and learning. The total value of gifts and cash of the program is 58.8 million VND.
Spreading joy from Trade Union care activities
Receiving gifts in the "Trade Union Tet Market" Program in 2026, many Nghe An union members and workers expressed joy and emotion. "The gifts are not large but very timely, helping us reduce worries when Tet is approaching. We really thank the Trade Union organization for always caring and accompanying us" - Ms. Le Thi Van Anh, a worker at Minh Anh Nghe An Company, shared.
According to the Nghe An Provincial Labor Federation, in 2025, trade union levels in the province took care of more than 50,000 turns of union members and workers with a total budget of over 60 billion VND through Tet activities, "Workers' Month" and union member welfare programs. Trade union organization building continued to be promoted, with more than 8,000 new union members admitted and established over 60 grassroots trade unions, mainly in the non-state enterprise sector.
In addition to material care, the Nghe An Trade Union also focuses on caring for the happiness and spiritual life of workers. At the end of December 2025, the collective wedding ceremony "Trade Union Hands - Steadfast Love" was solemnly organized for 11 pairs of workers in difficult circumstances.
In a warm and emotional space, the couples performed the wedding ceremony with the blessings of leaders, colleagues and relatives. Groom Nguyen Quang Thieu - a worker at Luxshare-ICT Nghe An Co., Ltd. - emotionally said: "If it weren't for the concern of the Trade Union organization, we would hardly have organized such a complete wedding ceremony. This is an unforgettable memory in my life as husband and wife.
Along with that, the emulation movement for good labor and creative labor continues to be widely launched by trade union levels, associated with improving productivity, quality and working conditions. Many union members believe that practical care has created motivation for them to actively respond to emulation movements and feel secure in long-term attachment to businesses.
From warm year-end meals, meaningful gifts to emotional collective weddings, the activities of Nghe An Trade Union have left a clear mark in the lives of workers. Many union members expressed their hope that in the coming time, especially before the 14th National Party Congress, policies on salaries, social housing, social security and retraining for workers will continue to be given more attention.
