On August 8, the Quang Tri Provincial Federation of Labor announced that, to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day on September 2, the RENEW/NPA Project Trade Union has just organized a Trade Union Meal program for union members and workers.
The program was held at 4 locations, including: Project Office (Dong Ha ward) and 3 site clearance areas contaminated with bombs and mines in Con Tien commune, Cua Viet commune and Gio Linh commune, Quang Tri province.
Each meal is worth up to 50,000 VND/meal from the grassroots union's budget. The menu is carefully prepared, nutritious, and suitable for the needs of workers.
The atmosphere at the venue was warm and friendly. handshakes and questions while eating help dispel fatigue after stressful working hours.
The intimate meal not only contributes to encouraging the spirit and improving the lives of union members, but is also an opportunity for us to look back on the past journey with 271 union members participating in bomb and mine clearance activities, supporting victims, educating risks and managing the Project - Mr. Ngo Xuan Hien, Chairman of the RENEW/NPA Project Trade Union shared.
On this occasion, 10 union members working at the scene in especially difficult circumstances were presented with support gifts by the Quang Tri Provincial Federation of Labor, each worth VND500,000, contributing to motivating those who are silently cleaning up their homeland day and night.
