Hau Giang - Voters proposed to consider tax exemption in the process of converting land use purposes for poor and near-poor households to reduce difficulties.

On the afternoon of April 17, continuing the meeting with voters before the 19th Session of the 15th National Assembly, Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor (VGCL) Thai Thu Xuong and Ms. Le Thi Thanh Lam - Deputy Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Hau Giang province met with 160 voters in Long My town.

At the meeting, Deputy Head of the Delegation of the National Assembly Delegation of Hau Giang Province informed the voters the main contents expected at the 9th session, the XV National Assembly; Introducing a number of important law projects, directly related to people, businesses and officials, public servants, officials and employees are expected to be considered and commented by the National Assembly.

Ms. Le Thi Thanh Lam also said that the 9th Session of the 15th National Assembly will conduct 2 sessions. Round 1 from 5 - 28; Round 2 from 11 - 28 June, a meeting will be held at the National Assembly House.

At this session, the National Assembly will consider and decide to amend and supplement a number of articles of the 2013 Constitution; consider and approve 30 laws and 7 resolutions; give opinions on 6 draft laws; decide on socio-economic issues, state budget, supervision and other important issues, especially through many important contents, especially through the Project to reorganize administrative units and organize local government at 2 levels, which will greatly affect cadres, civil servants and public employees.

At the meeting, voters expressed their opinions on upgrading key rural roads. Voters hope to soon upgrade important rural traffic routes, connecting communes, due to the current state of the road.

Voters also suggested taking measures to ensure landscape and environmental sanitation in urban areas.

Regarding tax exemption for land use conversion for poor and near-poor households, voters proposed to consider tax exemption during the process of converting land use purposes for poor and near-poor households that have been supported with houses under the Program to Eliminate Temporary and Dilapidated Houses, to help them reduce financial difficulties.

Speaking at the conference, Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Thai Thu Xuong acknowledged the recommendations and proposals of voters.

In addition, the Standing Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Labor Federation also emphasized that this year there are many important events and the central government is conducting a streamlined revolution. Therefore, it is necessary to unity, unanimity and high determination of the whole political system and expect voters to continue to donate and care for the localities to perform well the tasks of socio -economic development in the coming time.
