On December 28, Dak Lak Provincial Labor Federation informed that Emulation Cluster No. 2 held a conference to summarize Trade Union activities in 2024 and deploy directions and tasks for 2025.
Emulation cluster No. 2 was established by the Standing Committee of the Provincial Labor Federation in 2024. It includes the Labor Federations of the districts: Krong Ana, Buon Don, Ea Sup, Cu Kuin and Buon Ma Thuot city.
The total number of grassroots unions under the Dak Lak Provincial Federation of Labor is 494 units, with 21,530 union members. In 2024, in general, all levels of unions under the Dak Lak Provincial Federation of Labor will face many difficulties and challenges.
However, Emulation Cluster No. 2 achieved many important results in developing union members and establishing grassroots unions.
Trade unions at all levels also focus on caring for the lives and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of union members and workers.
During the year, many emulation movements took place enthusiastically, attracting many union members and workers to participate. Local unions supported the repair and construction of “Union Shelters” and provided subsidies to union members in difficult circumstances.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Ly - Permanent Vice President of Dak Lak Provincial Labor Federation acknowledged the results achieved by Emulation Cluster No. 2 in 2024 and oriented key tasks in 2025.
In particular, Emulation Cluster No. 2 needs to focus on implementing more welfare programs for union members and taking care of disadvantaged workers. Unions at all levels need to focus on developing union members and establishing grassroots unions.
