The conference was held to unify important contents to serve the preparation for the 7th Congress of the Vietnam Electricity Trade Union (VTC), term 20252030.
This is the final conference of the 6th Executive Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, the working program focuses on many important contents, including: Approving the Draft Program for organizing the 7th Congress of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor; giving opinions and agreeing on the Draft Report of the 6th Executive Committee to submit to the Congress for the 2025-2030 term; deploying personnel work of the 7th Executive Committee.
The conference agreed on the scheduled schedule to organize the 7th Congress of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor on December 23-24, 2025 in Hanoi. At the conference, delegates voted to approve the list of re-elected personnel and personnel introduced to participate in the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, and Inspection Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Trade Union, term VII, 2025-2030.
Speaking at the conference, Mr. Do Duc Hung - Chairman of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Trade Union emphasized: "This is an important stage, requiring the drastic and highly responsible participation of the Executive Committee members and the Standing Committee. At the same time, he requested the Executive Committee to continue promoting the spirit of solidarity and intelligence, perfecting all aspects of preparation work, ensuring that the 7th Congress of the Vietnam Electricity Trade Union is held solemnly and effectively, creating a foundation for the Trade Union to continue to affirm its role in accompanying workers and contributing to the sustainable development of the Vietnam Electricity Group".
