According to Mr. Nguyen Nhat Binh - Chairman of the Trade Union of Greentech Headgear Co., Ltd. (Chau Duc Industrial Park, Ho Chi Minh City), the Collective Labor Agreement (CLA) for the period 2020-2023 still has some contents that are not practical, and welfare is not sufficient.
The Executive Committee of the grassroots trade union has summarized the opinions of employees, negotiated with businesses to build collective labor agreements for the 2024-2027 period, supplemented many contents, and improved welfare for employees. In which, many contents are higher than the level prescribed by law such as supporting money for workers with young children (under 6 years old); supporting train and bus tickets for workers far from home; employees who have worked for 4 years will be given an additional 1 day of leave (according to regulations, it is 5 years)...
These benefits are not many, but they contribute to helping workers feel secure in their attachment and actively participate in production. The dialogue process of the grassroots trade union is of an agreement-based nature, for businesses to approve and apply in collective labor agreements" - Mr. Binh said.
At Greentech Headgear Co., Ltd., grassroots democracy regulations are applied very closely. Grassroots trade unions often participate in organizing dialogues between businesses and employees. Through this, many contents that bring practical benefits to both employees and businesses have been applied and implemented. For example, through dialogue, workers' salaries have increased from an average of 7.5 million VND/month in 2023 to 9.5 million VND/month in 2025; output bonuses have increased from 1-2 million VND/month to 2-3 million VND/month... As a result, the average income of workers has increased sharply, from about 8.5 million VND in 2023 to about 12.5 million VND in 2025.
These contents bring benefits to both sides: stable labor relations help workers improve productivity and increase income; businesses are assured of resources, expand orders, and create stable jobs.
