Emulation movement - the driving force to overcome difficulties and develop
In the 2020 - 2025 term, the socio-economic situation of Thanh Hoa province will face many difficulties, from the COVID-19 pandemic, the global economic recession, to the severe impact of natural disasters and epidemics. In that challenging context, Thanh Hoa Trade Unions at all levels have turned difficulties into motivation, arousing the competitive spirit among hundreds of thousands of union members and employees in the whole province.
The consistent movement is "CNVCLD pioneering in realizing the aspiration to build a civilized and prosperous Thanh Hoa homeland".
During this period alone, Thanh Hoa recorded 86,690 initiatives and topics, bringing in hundreds of billions of VND. The program "75 thousand initiatives, overcoming difficulties, developing" has up to 30,257 initiatives, helping Thanh Hoa rank Second in the country. In particular, the "01 million initiatives - efforts to overcome difficulties, creativity, determination to defeat the COVID-19 pandemic" program recorded 600,000 initiatives, leading the country, with a total value of benefits for businesses estimated at more than 584.7 billion VND. This is a vivid testament to the intelligence and dedication of Thanh Hoa workers.
The "Good workers, Creative workers" movement has more than 62,800 initiatives and scientific research topics applied at all levels, benefiting hundreds of billions of VND. Many topics and projects have become important solutions in production, management, education and healthcare. The whole province achieved 88 provincial-level solutions, of which 7 solutions were awarded national prizes. The Vietnam General Confederation of Labor has awarded 167 Creative Labor Certificates to union members and workers in Thanh Hoa.
Along with that, the movement "Good at public work, Good at housework" among female employees continues to promote its strength.
Affirming the role of trade unions
According to Mr. Vo Manh Son - Chairman of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Federation of Labor, provincial unions at all levels and union members and workers in Thanh Hoa always thoroughly grasp Uncle Ho's teaching: Emulation is patriotism, patriotism must compete; in recent times, Thanh Hoa Trade Unions at all levels have proactively launched many practical and effective patriotic emulation movements, achieving important results. Those achievements affirm the role and position of the Trade Union organization in the development of the homeland.
Thanh Hoa Trade Union has completed and exceeded 32/32 emulation targets of the province, 12/12 targets of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor. For 5 consecutive years, the Provincial Federation of Labor has been awarded the Emulation Flag by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor "Excellent unit leading the labor movement and trade union activities". Hundreds of collectives and individuals were awarded the Labor Medal, Emulation Flag of the Government, Certificates of Merit of the Prime Minister, the Provincial People's Committee and the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.
As a person who follows and is in charge of activities of the workers' movement and trade union activities, Mr. Trinh Tuan Sinh - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Thanh Hoa province - affirmed: The Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee always highly appreciates the Thanh Hoa Provincial Labor Federation for actively and proactively launching many patriotic emulation movements, successfully organizing programs with great influence. These achievements have made important contributions to the socio-economic development of the province.
Mr. Trinh Tuan Sinh said that, entering the period of 2025 - 2030, Thanh Hoa Trade Unions at all levels need to continue to innovate the content and form of emulation, linking the movement with the task of socio-economic development, especially the key programs of the province. arouse in union members and workers the spirit of innovation, creativity, and aspiration to contribute, so that each initiative and idea can contribute to building Thanh Hoa into an industrial province in a modern, civilized, and prosperous direction.
Continuing the successes of the 2020 - 2025 period, the Thanh Hoa Provincial Federation of Labor has launched a patriotic emulation movement for employees in the 2025 - 2030 period with a focus on the movements "Good workers, Creative workers", "Innovation, creativity, efficiency in Trade Union activities", "Green - Clean - Beautiful, ensuring occupational safety and hygiene", "Good at public work, Good at home work" among female employees; at the same time, continuing to effectively carry out the campaign " pioneering employees to realize the aspiration to build a civilized and prosperous Thanh Hoa homeland".
Specific targets are set: 100% of grassroots trade unions launch and sign annual emulation agreements; over 85% of employees are propagandized and disseminated the Party's guidelines and policies and State laws; 70% of employees are trained and fostered to improve their qualifications; 90% of female employees achieve the title of "Good at public work, Good at housework"; 80% of grassroots trade unions complete their tasks well, of which 20% complete their tasks excellently.
Ms. Trinh Thi Hoa - Vice President of Thanh Hoa Provincial Federation of Labor - emphasized: The Provincial Federation of Labor will focus on successfully implementing emulation movements in a practical direction with the spirit of turning emulation into concrete actions, practical initiatives in work, contributing to building Thanh Hoa into an industrial province in a modern, civilized and prosperous direction.
Summarizing the emulation movement for the period 2020 - 2025, the Thanh Hoa Provincial Federation of Labor commended and awarded the Creative Labor Certificate and Certificates of Merit to 75 outstanding collectives and individuals honored at this Conference, considering these as "the most beautiful flowers in the patriotic emulation flower garden of Thanh Hoa workers.
