Recorded at 4:30 p.m. on September 2 in the Phap Van - Cau Gie expressway area, the end of the expressway towards the center of Hanoi and the elevated Ring Road 3, the section from Thanh Tri bridge towards Mai Dich, the number of vehicles did not increase suddenly.
Especially at the end of Phap Van - Cau Gie Expressway towards the city, the traffic situation is more open than at the end of the day during long holidays. Only slight congestion appeared at the red light area, on average vehicles lost 1.2 beams of light to cross this intersection.

Mr. Nguyen Van Vinh (a bus driver on the Thai Binh - Hanoi route) said that this year the number of visitors in the afternoon has decreased sharply, normally during the last days of the holiday, there are almost all customers sitting full.
"The whole afternoon from Hanoi to Thai Binh is not as crowded as every year, this year, to celebrate the 80th anniversary of National Day, people will stay in the capital to watch many activities. The airy expressway also surprised me" - Mr. Vinh said.

The number of vehicles from southern provinces such as Hung Yen, Thanh Hoa, Ninh Binh flocking to Hanoi on the last day of the September 2 holiday this year is not too crowded, so traffic at intersections with Giai Phong Street, Giap Bat Bus Station, Nuoc Ngam does not appear to be congested for a long time.
Meanwhile, on the section of Ring Road 3, from Thanh Tri Bridge towards the city center, to Khuat Duy Tien and Mai Dich areas, traffic is also relatively stable. Despite local congestion, vehicles can still circulate.

According to the reporter's records at 5:00 p.m. on September 2, Hanoi's inner-city roads, which were congested for a long time during peak hours during the week, today also did not record any congestion, the road was quite airy and traffic was convenient.

According to the Hanoi Traffic Police Department, on the last day of this year's September 2 holiday, traffic conditions at Hanoi's gateways were relatively favorable and more airy than initially expected.
"The reason is that many people have proactively returned to the capital earlier to avoid congestion on the last day of the holiday. At the same time, this year many people stayed in Hanoi to attend the programs to celebrate the 80th anniversary of September 2", said a representative of the Hanoi Traffic Police Department.
The authorities also advised people not to be subjective because the road is airy. Vehicle owners need to pay attention to driving at the right speed, in the correct lane and follow traffic lights, instructions and regulations of the traffic police.
