On the evening of June 28, the Thanh Hoa Provincial Labor Federation (LĐLĐ) organized a conference to summarize Workers' Month, Action Month on Occupational Safety and Health in 2026; commending "Exemplary Workers" and awarding prizes for the "Good Legal Consultant and Safety and Health Network" Contest in 2026.

Attending the conference were representatives of leaders of Thanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee, Provincial Fatherland Front Committee (MTTQ), Provincial Labor Federation, along with representatives of provincial departments and branches and hundreds of union members and workers.
According to the Thanh Hoa Provincial Labor Federation, "Workers' Month and Action Month on Occupational Safety and Health" in 2026 are being implemented by trade union levels in the province with many practical activities, bringing about effectiveness and widespread spread.
In which, the focus is on caring for the lives, protecting the legitimate rights and interests of union members and workers; promoting emulation movements for good labor, creative labor; building and replicating legal advice models, improving skills, promoting technical innovation initiatives...

With the motto "Towards grassroots level, close to union members, understanding workers", trade unions at all levels have concretized into many models and tasks suitable to the reality of each locality, unit, and enterprise. At the same time, actively advising Party committees, coordinating with the government, the Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations to mobilize resources to care for union members' welfare.
The Provincial Labor Federation has played a good role in orienting, advising, and guiding through building a system of 22 specific targets (an increase of 12 targets compared to the plan assigned by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor), ensuring feasibility, closeness to reality, and serving as a basis for grassroots trade unions to strive, implement, and evaluate.

During Workers' Month, the whole province supported the construction of 11 "Trade Union Homes" with a total budget of 455 million VND; presented 364,739 gifts to union members and workers with a total value of over 122.7 billion VND; and newly admitted 18,000 union members.
These gifts not only promptly encourage union members and workers in difficult circumstances, but more importantly, through Workers' Month, the role of union members and workers continues to be affirmed, and creative labor achievements are recognized and praised.
In addition, at the dialogue forum between provincial leaders and workers, 34 groups of issues were recorded that workers were interested in, focusing on life, employment, income, working conditions and social security policies. This is an important basis for Party committees and authorities to continue to improve mechanisms and policies to better care for workers.

In Workers' Month 2026, trade union levels introduced 643 outstanding union members for the Party to consider admitting, including admitting 340 new party members, affirming the pioneering role of the trade union organization as the political nucleus of the Party in enterprises and at the grassroots level.
The Provincial Labor Federation has also established 6 provincial-level legal advisory groups with 111 members; directed the establishment of advisory groups at commune and ward trade unions and enterprises with 500 or more workers, contributing to improving legal understanding and protecting workers' rights.

At the conference, representatives of the Provincial People's Committee, the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, and the Provincial Labor Federation awarded Certificates of Merit from the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and the Thanh Hoa Provincial Labor Federation to many collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in Workers' Month 2026.

Along with that, the Thanh Hoa Provincial Labor Federation commended 80 "Exemplary Workers" and awarded prizes to teams that achieved high results at the "Excellent Legal Consultant and Safety and Hygiene Network" Contest in 2026.
