On the morning of February 3rd, a delegation of the An Giang Provincial Labor Federation led by Comrade Do Tran Thinh - Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Labor Federation - came to offer flowers and incense at the Temple of Remembrance for Heroic Martyrs and People with Meritorious Services (Rach Gia ward). This is a meaningful activity to celebrate the 96th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3, 1930 - February 3, 2026) and celebrate the Party, celebrate Binh Ngo Spring 2026.
The delegation included Vice Chairmen, Members of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Labor Federation and officials and civil servants of the Trade Union Affairs Committee.
In a solemn atmosphere, the delegation observed a minute of silence, expressing their respectful remembrance of President Ho Chi Minh and the heroic martyrs - those who sacrificed for national independence, for the happiness of the people.
After the incense offering ceremony, the delegation listened to the interpreter introduce the process of forming the memorial temple, the historical significance of the project. Thereby helping Trade Union officials better understand the value of peace today, raise awareness of responsibility, foster revolutionary ideals and patriotism in performing tasks.
Before the spirit of Uncle Ho and the heroic martyrs, the Standing Committee, the Standing Board of the Provincial Labor Federation and Trade Union officials vowed to continue to promote the spirit of solidarity and responsibility, build a strong Trade Union organization, contributing to the socio-economic development of the locality.
Comrade Nguyen Nhat Tien - Vice Chairman of the Provincial Labor Federation, Head of the Trade Union Affairs Committee - said that the memorial temple is an important political and traditional activity address, contributing to fostering awareness, revolutionary ideals and patriotism for union members and workers.
The activities of offering incense at the beginning of Spring of the Provincial Labor Federation also contribute to educating tradition, consolidating political bravery for cadres, union members, workers and employees, creating motivation for emulation to successfully complete tasks in the new year.
The Memorial Temple is a place to commemorate more than 21,000 heroic martyrs and people with meritorious services in the province, showing the tradition of resilient struggle of An Giang homeland.
