On the afternoon of September 11, the Khanh Hoa Provincial Labor Federation organized a welcome ceremony for the delegation of the Russian Federation of Independent Trade Unions (FNPR) led by Mr. Sergey Ivanovich Chernogaev - Chairman of the FNPR to visit and work in the province.

The visit is an opportunity for the two sides to strengthen friendship and mutual understanding. At the same time, exchange experiences on trade union organization and activities, union member development, building grassroots trade unions, caring for workers and organizing emulation movements.
At the working session, Mr. Bui Hoai Nam - Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Chairman of the Khanh Hoa Provincial Labor Federation said that currently the whole province has 97,693 union members out of a total of 113,779 workers, operating in 1,018 grassroots trade unions.
According to Mr. Bui Hoai Nam, the large number of union members and workers sets requirements for the Trade Union organization in continuing to innovate the content and methods of operation, expand the collection of workers and improve the quality of operations at the grassroots level.

The two sides shared experiences in developing union members, establishing trade union organizations in private enterprises, foreign-invested enterprises and labor-intensive enterprises; experiences in training and fostering trade union officials and improving the quality of grassroots trade union activities, especially skills in dialogue, collective bargaining, and building harmonious labor relations.
In addition, the two sides exchanged views on models of caring for life, representing and protecting the rights and interests of workers, including female workers and groups of workers with high mobility. The experience of organizing emulation movements in enterprises towards improving productivity, production quality, improving income and increasing employee attachment was also mentioned.
Mr. Sergey Ivanovich Chernogaev said that Khanh Hoa is one of the most well-known Vietnamese destinations in Russia. According to him, this closeness is contributed by Khanh Hoa workers in the hotel, transportation and service industries.

The FNPR Chairman paid special attention to the experience of the Khanh Hoa Trade Union in gathering workers at industrial park enterprises, in the service and tourism sectors.
He believes that the results Khanh Hoa has achieved in developing union members and building grassroots trade unions are worth studying and wishes to be shared in more detail in the coming time.
