After 2 days of exciting competition, on the evening of May 17, the 2025 Can Tho City Workers, Civil Servants and Laborers Sports Festival officially closed.
With 22 teams, over 700 athletes and coaches participating, the sports festival brought exciting and attractive competitions in 3 sports: men's football, women's volleyball and badminton.
As a result, the union of Can Tho City People's Committee excelled in winning the first prize in the whole delegation. The second prize belongs to the Labor Federation of Ninh Kieu District and the Labor Federation of Thot Not district. The Labor Federation of Binh Thuy District and the Labor Federation of O Mon District won the third prize. The remaining units are consolation prizes.
At the summary ceremony, the Organizing Committee also awarded many collective and individual prizes for each competition. Accordingly, in the men's football and women's volleyball, the two outstanding units that won the first prize were the O Mon District Labor Federation and the Can Tho City People's Committee Trade Union.
In badminton, individuals from the Vinh Thanh District Labor Federation, Ninh Kieu District Labor Federation, Can Tho City People's Committee Trade Union, Thot Not District Labor Federation and Binh Thuy District Labor Federation won first prizes in each gender and age group.
The sports festival is an opportunity for cadres, union members, and employees to exchange, learn, promote the spirit of solidarity and emulation, contributing to improving the quality of work and building an increasingly strong Trade Union organization. At the same time, it creates a vibrant and exciting atmosphere for union members and employees during Workers' Month 2025.
