Mr. Tran Kim Long - Vice Chairman of the Ninh Binh Provincial Federation of Labor said that the meeting aimed to implement Plan No. 125/KH-TLD dated September 19, 2024 of the Presidium of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor on organizing for cadres, union members, and workers to participate in meetings with voters of the National Assembly Delegation, thereby creating a forum for National Assembly Deputies to meet, listen to, understand the thoughts, aspirations, recommendations, and proposals of voters who are workers on jobs, income, life, as well as perfecting the system of policies and laws; for National Assembly Deputies to synthesize and reflect opinions to the National Assembly, relevant agencies and organizations. At the same time, contributing to the development of policies and laws that are feasible and close to reality.
Through this, it will contribute to strengthening democracy at the grassroots level; raising awareness and responsibility of workers in participating in building a socialist rule-of-law state. The program will be organized scientifically, practically, effectively, avoiding ostentation and formality.
According to Mr. Long, participating in the meeting, union officials, union members, and employees will reflect to National Assembly deputies on the practical implementation situation and give opinions on draft laws considered and commented on (or approved) by the National Assembly at the 8th session, focusing on the Trade Union Law (amended) and the Employment Law (amended).
In addition, union officials, union members and employees will also make recommendations and proposals related to the lives, work and aspirations of union members and employees.
