Informing voters, a representative of the National Assembly Delegation of Ha Giang province said that the 8th session of the 15th National Assembly is scheduled to open on October 21 and close on November 30. In the meeting agenda, the National Assembly will consider, comment on, and approve a number of draft laws and many important contents. These include the draft Law on Trade Unions and the draft Law on Employment (amended).
At the two conferences, there were 35 opinions and recommendations from the delegates to improve the draft Law on Trade Unions and the Law on Employment.
Focus on issues such as: clearer regulations on the right to proactively exercise the right to supervision of trade unions in the Trade Union Law; proposal to increase unemployment benefits from 60% to 75% in the Employment Law; continue to stipulate the source of revenue of 2% of trade union funds as in the 2012 Trade Union Law; some contents related to social insurance and unemployment insurance regimes...

On this occasion, the XV National Assembly Delegation presented 200 gifts to 200 union members, workers and laborers in difficult circumstances in Meo Vac and Quang Binh districts. Each gift was worth 1 million VND in cash and gifts. The total value was over 320 million VND.
