On April 22, the Kien Giang Provincial Federation of Labor organized the handover of the Trade Union Shelter to union member Huynh Vu Phuong, Trade Union of the Provincial Party Committee's Agencies and Enterprises.
Union member Huynh Vu Phuong (born in 1981), who has been working since 2018, is a driver of the Provincial Party Committee of the Agencies - Enterprises Bloc.
The family currently has 3 members, Mr. Phuong is raising a young child to go to school and his elderly mother is unable to work. She is a major income but has thyroid cancer.
Mr. Phuong's previous house was dilapidated, the walls were peeling, leaking water and flooding. Mr. Phuong's income is spent on daily living expenses, so he cannot have much left to rebuild a new house.
At the house handover ceremony, Permanent Vice President of the Provincial Federation of Labor Pham Van Dang also sent his condolences and encouragement to union member Phuong's family. The new house helps the union member's family no longer have to worry about leaking rain or worrying about the coming rain and wind. Mr. Pham Van Dang also hopes that union members will try to overcome difficulties to work and raise their children to study well.
In addition to the gifts to celebrate the new house of the Provincial Federation of Labor, the Trade Union of the Party Committee of the Provincial Agencies and Enterprises also mobilized contributions and sent 5 million VND to the family of union member Phuong.
